Douglas A. Sandmann, DDS

Dr. Sandmann started Glenville Dental in 1993.  He grew up in Glenville and is a graduate of Scotia- Glenville High School.  He is a graduate of SUNY Binghamton with a degree in Biology and a concentration in Mathematics.  He earned his Doctorate in Dental Sciences from SUNY Buffalo in 1987. 

After graduation Dr. Sandmann completed his General Practice Residency at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Sandmann lives in Burnt Hills with his wife and two boys.  He enjoys his free time doing renovation projects and general carpentry.  Snowboarding , snowmobiling, hiking and doing anything in the Adirondacks are his passion.

Shelly Nevard, DDS

Dr. Nevard is a graduate of Vassar College with a BA in Biology. She earned her Doctorate in Dental Sciences from SUNY Stonybrook in 1987 and joined the team at Glenville Dental in 2001.

After graduation Dr. Nevard completed her General Practice Residency at VA Medical Center in Albany, New York. Dr. Nevard enjoys her free time hiking, skiing, canoeing, martial arts, quilting and knitting.

Maybelle J. Hwang, DMD

Dr. Hwang graduated from Cornell University in 1997 with a BS in Nutritional
Sciences. She then received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the
University of Pennsylvania in 2002. Following a General Practice Residency at
the VA Medical Center in Manhattan, she worked in private practice in midtown
Manhattan. In 2006 Dr. Hwang moved to Saratoga Springs to start her family.
She practiced in Greenwich and Queensbury prior to joining Glenville Dental.
